BRAND INTRO
Initially, we designed a digital art brand logo of a jumping bear to convey fun and cheer. Yet its posture failed to clearly show "jumping"—lacking airiness and stretched limbs. Instead, its torso movement and curved limbs looked like sit-ups, which might mislead people to link it with sports goods brands, straying from our original intent.
We'd been pondering what kind of logo could be instantly memorable, yet not overly formal and still fun.
One day, my partner and I were making cookies at home. He sculpted a chubby little bear head, and I found it incredibly cute. So, I suggested that our logo also feature a chubby bear.
After discussion, we decided against using computer-generated graphics for the logo, foregoing perfectly smooth lines and uniform color. Instead, we opted for a hand-drawn approach.
We designed the bear's head, body, and tail as a single unit, using varying shades of color to resemble the surface of a baked cookie.
